An iconic style, now Xero-fied!

We recommend ordering your usual size.

Aptos may have a familiar look, but wait until you slip it on and FEEL it.

With its lightweight, hemp canvas upper, wide toe box, and new grippy sole, the comfort is unmatched.

We named this shoe after a casual, cool California beach town, and when you slip on the Aptos, you’ll feel that “walking on the beach at sunset” vibe no matter where you take it.

“Just-Right” Protection

With a grippy 5.5mm FeelTrue®  rubber sole, you’ll get the protection you want while still getting the ground feedback that your feet love. Slip out the removable 2mm insole when your mood says “more barefoot feel, please.”

Lightweight

A men’s size 9 Aptos is just 7.8 ounces each – you’ll barely notice you’re wearing them.

Easy on and off
Elastic sections in the upper mean you can slide in and out of the Aptos with ease (no hands!), but still have a secure and comfy fit.

Plus, the Aptos is made from 100% vegan-friendly materials.
If your feet don’t feel as good at the end of the day than they did at the beginning, you haven’t been wearing the Aptos.

Life-Changing comfort and superior performance come from using your feet naturally.

That’s what Xero Shoes let you do.

Natural Fit. Natural Motion. Natural Feel.

Good shoes, but they fit loose.

The Aptos are very light, flexible, and have the laid back, casual look you expect. I bought them in my usual size, men's 10, and I thought they'd be a bit snug to hold my foot, but they're pretty loose on me. I do have low arches, but I don't tend to have this problem with other shoes. I'd taken the insert out of my Xero Dillons and they fit just fine, but I guess without laces, they have to account for lots of different feet. So with the inserts in and socks on, they're still a bit loose but they're not falling off. At least they're easy to slip on and off which is why I got them. Just something I can jump into if I need to take out the garbage or get some groceries. Another thing to mention is the cushioning around the ankle. It feels kinda strange, like when you slip on a regular shoe and you crushed the heel down a little bit so the material is folded over or whatever. It feels like the cushioning around the ankle is bunched up and not sitting properly, but that's just the way it's designed. Could just be that they're loose on me. Overall a good shoe though, I haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up, but they should be fine.
